Here’s my tip of the day for you: if you’re going walking in a heavily wooded area during the summer in Iowa, it’s a good idea to remember the bug dope.
I will say this for my walk yesterday–I set a new record for walking the trail I’d chosen. It took me about 25 minutes, whereas before it had taken me 40 or more. Skeeters are good motivators. Also, I’m in better shape than I’ve been in for a while, and that helped, too, tremendously. It was a fine walk, skeeters notwithstanding.
It’s another beautiful day in the neighborhood, so it’ll be another walk, with bug dope, later on for me. These days are too precious to squander inside.
Happy Monday, all, and make it a great day!
